A few weeks ago, I went to a Bank of America ATM, where I was in line behind a red-haired woman having a cell phone conversation. "Wow," she said, looking at a discarded receipt, "some person deposited x in their account. Now they have 2x. I wish I had 2x!" As she left, I smiled. I had 6x in my account. "Rich, rich, rich," I thought to myself.
As soon as the checks I have written today clear, I will have x/100 in my checking account. Luckily (and unlike this time last year), I have y in my savings account. y is enough.

I have a sneaking suspicion that I probably have x/z in my account, where z is a very big number.
Also: can you beleive the news? It's so very sad.
