I wish I could say something snarky like, "Ohio is the New Florida," or, "It's all up to Walden O'Dell now," but this situation is too troubling for humor. I am going to bed, where I hope I will not wake to a nightmare.

I'm worried, too. I'm seriously considering moving to Canada after all is said and done. I wish this election didn't make me want to be an expat.
I like Canada, but could not seriously consider moving there. While it is depressing that slightly more than half of the American people think that the job that Bush did was good enough to justify extending his term, moving to Canada would only compound their mistake. If Bush does win the Presidency (a point I refuse to concede until all the ballots in Ohio are counted), the role of a liberal opposition will only become more important.
Obviously, half a million of us should move to Florida. Besides, it is much warmer there.
