I'm am posting this from twm, because I did not have the foresight to emerge a better/newer/shinier windowmanager before emerging gnome 2.6. But you did not want to hear about that, and more of half of you, unable to understand what the heck I was talking about in the last sentence, have probably walked away from the computer in disgust, never again to visit this wretched site and its arcane technobabble.
Luckily for those who have stayed, exciting news follows (as per reader request) about the people (and robots) who visit this site. The following information is based on an exhaustive line-by-line analysis of all site accesses from April 5 to April 12. In that time period, 88 visits were made by people (actual people, not including me or any identifiable web robots) to this site (this includes all of marteydodoo.com, not just the blog). Most of the visits starting at the main website originated from somewhere within Harvard's IP block. A large proportion of the fourteen Harvard visits looked at my resume (overambitious Harvard kids!) either before or after they read the blog. From repeated accesses to my RSS file, I am relatively sure that I have at least one reader using a RSS aggregator.
The following is a list of search engine queries that brought users to this site:
- thefacebook (see thefacebook.com)
- xor
- W32/Polybot.gen!irc; trojan "port 5999" (see Just Because You're Paranoid)
- plaxo software; plaxo; free lie software (see Plaxo ... and Free Software)
- or and not xor
- corefonts gentoo (see Greetings from Gentoo)
- Burt Cohen (see Can Burt Cohen?)
- The Case Against Perfection, Michael Sandel, blog (see Perfection)
- email address register on march 2004 of 45 age female moscow (see February 2004 Archives)
