Spamhunting

Over the past few days, I have been receiving a number of spam email messages at my FAS email account. Excepting the latest message, they all included links to some shady website hosted in China. The one sent less than an hour ago, however, included only a phone number: 1-212-658-9912.

Leaving myself the very slim hope of finding the number's registration information on Google, I did a search for it. No such luck, although I did find (the only result) a similar message on what seems to be a blog chronicling spam (I am not sure, as the site is in German). All very avant-garde, I thought. Then I ran across the comments asking for "more information" on spams about random stocks.

Spamblog wird bekannter

Wow, jetzt gibt es den ersten Blogger, der sich mit meinem Spamblog beschäftigt. Es greift um sich.
